State Police say a Mitchell man is facing a murder charge for hitting another Micthell man multiple times and killing him.
Police say, 46-year-old Homer Smith, struck Timothy Tolbert in the head multiple times during an argument while Tolbert was fishing with a female companion just inside Orange County.
Smith then left the scene.
Smith was later found at his mother’s residence by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
