Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes has donated $250,000 to the YMCA of Vincennes’ capital campaign.
A check presentation was held on April 24th.
The contribution will go toward the YMCA’s efforts to raise $2.5 million to renovate a third gym space into a multi-sports room that would include a golf simulator, pickleball court, volleyball court and a batting cage.
The plan also includes renovation to the YMCA lobby and main entrance.
The hospital’s donation comes with a wellness component for Good Samaritan caregivers.
These employees will now receive a 25% discount on YMCA memberships.
