Beginning Sunday, the Linton Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants.
It’s anticipated the flushing process will require four nights to complete.
Flushing will begin nightly at eight-o-clock and will last through six-o-clock the following morning.
All flushing activities should be completed by 6:00 AM on Thursday April 18th.
During the process, customers may notice a discoloration of their water.
It’s recommended clothes washing be kept to a minimum during this time as discolored water could stain white or light-colored clothing.
